๐ŸŒŸ Success starts with showing up.

๐Ÿซ A missed school day can mean missing a lesson, a conversation, a new connection or a moment that helps a student move forward. Being present gives students the chance to make the most of their school experience, one day, one opportunity, and one step at a time.

๐Ÿ“š Make attendance a priority. Make every day count.โœจ

๐ŸŽฅโค๏ธ A Story of Courage, Strength, and Family

FOX 11 joined us last night at Centennialโ€™s Hero Night to share the story of one of this yearโ€™s honorees, the Mallett family. The family, including Centennial football player Hudson Mallett, shared their powerful journey of courage and resilience following a life-changing accident involving Hudsonโ€™s sister, Brooklyn, and the heroic actions of the first responders who stepped in to help.

Weโ€™re grateful to FOX 11 for helping share the Mallett familyโ€™s story and highlighting what made tonightโ€™s Hero Night so meaningful for our Husky community. โค๏ธ๐Ÿพ

๐ŸŒŸ A new Lead to Empower journey begins!

Students from Orange Grove High School came together for the first meeting of this yearโ€™s Lead to Empower Mentoring Program, connecting with District leadership and beginning an experience focused on leadership, mentorship, and recognizing their own potential.

Our scholars and Principal Guillen met with Superintendent Dr. Gadelmawla and Executive Cabinet members this morning at the District Office.

Through the program, students are encouraged to broaden their perspectives, build confidence, and see the possibilities ahead as they continue shaping their own paths forward. โค๏ธ

๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ A community united in remembrance.

Yesterdayโ€™s dedication of Freedom Square at Norco High School brought together families, veterans, students, staff, community members, local leaders, the CNUSD Board of Education, and Superintendent Dr. Dalia Gadelmawla to honor six Norco High School alumni who gave their lives in service to our country.

๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ Sgt. Ryan C. Young โ€” U.S. Army | Dec. 2, 2003

The ceremony was a powerful reminder of the connection between Norco High School and the community it has served for generations. Freedom Square now provides a permanent place on campus where their names, service and sacrifice can be remembered by every Cougar who follows.

We are grateful to the families who joined us for this meaningful dedication and to the many community partners whose contributions made it possible.

May Freedom Square stand as a lasting reminder of their courage, service and sacrifice. ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ
