Norcross reveals itself through both the people who shape it and the places where community life unfolds. Its story stretches from recording studios, theaters and galleries to parks, classrooms, cultural centers and neighborhood gathering spots.

Some of these places preserve history. Others create room for art, recreation, learning or connection. The people behind them bring ideas to life, welcome others in and help each space reflect the city around it.

Together, these faces, places and organizations offer a fuller view of Norcross. Some may already feel familiar. Others may give residents a new reason to explore their city.

The City of Norcross - Government gathered to celebrate something truly special: the official unveiling of bronze white squirrel sculptures. The ribbon-cutting ceremony at Norcross Gallery & Studios on May 14 marked the completion of the first phase of an ambitious public art project that transforms a beloved local quirk into a community treasure.

The White Squirrels of Norcross project represents far more than just public art installations. It’s a celebration of the city’s unique character, a nod to the rare leucistic Eastern gray squirrels that have called Norcross home for decades, and a creative way to bring neighbors together around something whimsical and wonderful.
