UPDATE: Scattered thunderstorms will be occasionally interrupting early summer plans across the area this weekend. Early Saturday morning brings a round of storms that will mostly fall below severe criteria. Saturday afternoon's storms in far southeast Nebraska may be stronger (but less widespread).
