I wanted to take this opportunity to share an update on the slide. All of the parts are in and people from the slide company were at Botelle last weekend. We (the town) need to place a retaining wall in to help support the slide. If you remember the hill had tires going all the way down. We (the town) removed them to accommodate the “construction” of the new slide. Fingers crossed we can have the slide back open soon!!

I want to share an update that we have. As of today we are still awaiting the new parts from the company. They are custom pieces. Matt has been in contact with the company and doing his best to get prompt answers.

PLEASE do NOT head over to the slide this weekend. Due to rain it will take a few more days to be completed. The town cannot risk any damages to the new slide. Thank you! 😊

Slide will be up this weekend. But will NOT be available for use till next weekend, so the slide has time to set and the concrete can dry. 🎉

Great news as of today! Matt Riiska followed up with the supplier and we should have a delivery in two weeks!!! 🎊😊

To answer everyone’s question. “Is the slide open?”. Not yet unfortunately. But our town’s selectman Matt Riiska has been following up with the company, a projected arrival date is still early June! So hopefully soon we will see some action 😊 Thanks to everyone for keeping interest in our slide, as it’s a huge part of our town.
