Over the past week or so, you've seen Sailors in the Big Apple for Fleet Week New York 2025 online and on TV. You may have even seen The Secretary of the Navy John Phelan accept the 2025 Intrepid Freedom Award at the Intrepid Museum Salute to Freedom Gala.

But did you know that Rear Adm. Gerald "Jerry" Bogan, commander, Carrier Division 4 (the third commander in our command's warfighting legacy and a Navy Cross recipient) embarked "The Mighty I" as the Intrepid Carrier Division Commander in the Pacific in World War II during some of the most consequential actions during the war?

Check out the video below about his team's operations from Intrepid's Flag Bridge.

We're back with another Intrepid Minute! Join our Senior Tour Guide Mike Murtagh as he explains what the Admiral's Bridge was used for during its service.
