WORK CENTER IN THE SPOTLIGHT: The Advanced Traceability and Control (ATAC) program serves as the primary logistical framework for tracking, packing and moving high-value Depot Level Repairables across the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps. By maintaining strict oversight of these components, the program directly prevents readiness degradation, stabilizes operating budgets and accelerates repair cycle times.
During the last fiscal year, the Norfolk hub’s team managed the following asset volumes and values:
Retrograde assets: 47,958 units processed, valued at $1.56 billion.
Aviation and maritime engines: 242 units processed, valued at $290.4 million.
Contractor returns: 3,026 units processed, valued at $98.3 million.
"I am incredibly grateful to be part of such a talented and supportive team," said Shawn Pugsley, ATAC hub director. "I'm so proud of what we are building and am looking forward to everything we will achieve together in the future."

NAVSUP FLC NORFOLK IN THE NEWS: Sailors and civilians at Naval Supply Systems Command Fleet Logistics Center Norfolk (NAVSUP FLC Norfolk) are taking a hands-on approach to improving fleet service and workspace environments through a program known as "extreme ownership."
Commanding Officer, Capt. Kelly House says the initiative stems directly from the command’s "OURS" philosophy: ownership, unity, readiness and support. This philosophy was developed as a collaborative effort across the command.
“The Command Resilience Team led a collaborative, command-wide approach to crowdsource input from all 1,200 employees, ranging from junior Sailors to senior leaders,” House explained. “The overarching goal was to organically embody the Navy's 'Get Real, Get Better' (GRGB) principles by empowering people at the lowest level to take ownership, accountability and responsibility to accelerate improvements across a massive command that spans 12 states.” LINK TO FULL STORY IN THE COMMENTS.
