Do you like to read? Do you like history? Do you like things that are free? If your answer to all of those questions was “Yes,” then you might be interested in the newest book club centered on U.S. Navy history, BOOKS AHOY!

On the first Thursday of each month, starting in September, the book club will meet at the Norfolk Public Library in The Slover located in downtown Norfolk. Meetings start at 10:00 am in the 555 Program Room.

Our first book is Commander Will Cushing: Daredevil Hero of the Civil War by Jamie Malanowski.
