💜The Faith Health Foundation would like to thank all those who supported the Big Give Hope in Motion campaign by sponsoring, signing up to walk or bike, buying a t-shirt, or donating, you are all so amazing!

🚴Together, participants walked and biked 100 miles that day, with a match donation of $5 per mile totaling $500!

👏This event, benefitting the Hope Fund, raised a gross total of $18,941.21! 🤩

💜The Hope Fund provides patient snacks in the Cancer Center and items in the Appearance Center, such as wigs, hats, scarves, mastectomy products, and lymphedema sleeves. The Hope Fund also provides money grants in the amount of $250 per calendar year per patient to those with a need for assistance with living expenses, equipment rental/purchase, nutritional supplements, or hotel stays and transportation.

💜 Nancy in Registration purchased a t-shirt with this heartfelt message:
“This is for the oncology patients I register daily. It’s for their hopes and dreams; their miles traveled from doctor to doctor, their trepidation of another lab draw, their plans they’ve put on hold. It’s for their loved ones who come to the appointments with them to support and transport them from here to there, for all the meals the friends and relatives have eaten in the cafeteria, and the seemingly always empty gas tank. This is for the lump in their throats when they enter my registration office and tell me this should be the last blood draw. This is for the doctors and nurses who carry the patients’ loads with them at appointments and then brush themselves off to help the next patient. It’s also for my dad who went through cancer treatments 30 years ago. I wish so many things, but mostly I wish to remember him, before the C word came crashing into our lives. May God bless you all.”
