We need your help! Our marketplace, a vital component in how we get food to our Partner Agencies, is empty. We need your help filling it back up. Whether it's food or funds, every little bit helps, and we know we can always count on our community. Visit https://ow.ly/wjPG50Vk64i to donate or https://ow.ly/PsR550Vk64j to host a food drive. Thank you in advance for your generosity 🧡

Happy Chinese New Year! Today, we want to highlight our friends at BrokenRice for their recent donation of 2,000 pounds of rice. The organization’s mission is to use fashion to help end world hunger — 10% of all of their sales go directly to food banks! And each design, chapter, and episode they create has an additional message to raise awareness for food insecurity. Be sure to check out their website brokenriceclothing.com to see how you can support them. Thank you, Broken Rice, for all you do!
Right now, your donation can go twice as far in the fight against hunger! Dollar Tree | Family Dollar is matching every gift you make — dollar for dollar — up to $25,000! Every $1 = 4 meals! Help our neighbors by making 2X the impact today.

We’re getting ready for our next peanut shocking at Izzie’s Field, and we need your help! 🥜🚜🌾
This harvest is part of an ongoing partnership with Elisha Barnes, a fourth-generation farmer dedicated to preserving the time-honored practice of shocking peanuts. In collaboration with the Hubs Virginia Peanuts, this limited-edition “single origin” peanut crop is grown with care on Izzie’s Field. A portion of every can sold from this special crop helps provide two meals to neighbors experiencing hunger, so each harvest and every volunteer hour contributes directly to our fight against food insecurity.
That’s where you come in! 🧡 We are seeking volunteers to join us for this Wednesday, October 9, through Friday, October 11, with two daily opportunities available from 8:00-11:00am and 10:00am-1:00pm. This a unique opportunity to preserve tradition, connect with the land, and support our neighbors in need.
