We had a BLAST at convention in Norfolk this past weekend! Shoutout to all of our Hampton Roads friends who made this incredible weekend possible🫶

We are thrilled to have sent 6 delegates in person, and 3 virtual, and especially to have elected one of our own to VAYD Vice President! Also, thank you to our member Olivia for her excellent work serving as Credentials Committee Chair! Thank you everyone for your generous support, without it this success would not have been possible!

Last year, HRYD hosted a record-breaking convention. This year, we are excited to support our friends in Hampton Roads as we travel for their incredible region to attend the annual convention!

here’s a 2025 photo dump from your friends at HRYD💙

what an incredible year for us! we hosted a record-breaking convention, attended a wonderful rural retreat in natural bridge, sent a record three delegates to YDA convention, lobbied the General Assembly, worked our asses off on the closest race in the commonwealth (we love you !!), helped elect an all Democratic statewide ticket, protested for our civil rights, welcomed new chapters and members locally and throughout the , and grew closer than ever with river trips and gatherings at HQ!

Since December calls for circling back in the New Year, that’s exactly what we’re gonna do with our monthly meeting. Instead of a meeting this month, we are hosting a game night featuring board games, card games, and everything in between!!!!
