USS Harvey C. Barnum Jr. has arrived in Norfolk.

A big moment for the crew and everyone who played a role in getting her here. The work behind the scenes made this possible, and it shows.

CNSG welcomed the ship and crew, with the Commodore on the pier to meet Medal of Honor recipient Col. Barnum, the ship’s namesake, along with his wife, Martha Hill, the ship’s sponsor.

After more than 10 years, USS Tortuga (L*D 46) is back underway.

CNSG team, you all did an amazing job getting her there. This was a full team effort from start to finish, and it shows. All the time, work, and attention to detail paid off in a safe and successful underway.

Proud of this team and everything that went into bringing Tortuga back to sea.
