Our manager of Hampton Roads Developmental Screening Initiative, Marquita Sykes, delivered books and materials to our partners who completed the Ages and Stages Questionnaire for online screenings for children birth through five years old. We want to say a huge thank you for helping to enhance the development of our children here in the 757!
As comes to an end, we’d like to highlight two outstanding volunteers in the 757 who have gone above and beyond to help our neighbors thrive.
Jane T. Sawyer from Virginia Beach City Government was loved by her co-workers and her passion for service was well known. She was the first to volunteer and assist with any fund-raising project and participated at multiple Day of Caring project locations.
Lewis Webb from Kaufman & Canoles, P.C. loves volunteering with United Way because of the high impact he can make across our community. His favorite part of volunteering is getting to learn from and engage with professionals in the non-profit, education and government worlds and be inspired by their passions.
