We have some amazing UNL athletes coming to the Madison County Fair on Friday July10th

Meet and greets are in the arena from 5:00pm -7:00pm with the purchase of a Friday night concert ticket you can see

Trent Uhlir - Football
Rowdy Bauer - Football
Nolan Fennessy - Football
Allison Weidner - Women's Basketball

US92/94Rock will be down at the fairgrounds all day, Friday July 10th, getting us pumped up with giveaways, trivia, and live broadcasting. They will also be giving away posters for signing at meet and greets.

The Nebraska 4-H Shooting Sports program gives youth the opportunity to safely strengthen their marksmanship alongside their peers.

Next week, teams from across the country will be in Grand Island to compete at the 4-H Shooting Sports National Championships, which gives you the opportunity to see firsthand the Nebraska 4-H Shooting Sports program in action! Have you ever wondered why plants are important to Nebraska? Come to the 2nd annual Northeast Nebraska Education Compact Middle School STEM Camp at Northeast Community College to explore and find out the answer to WHY plants play an integral role in our everyday lives. Tour the Urban Farm, how we feed plants to animals, and learn about how plants play a role in medicine and soil health. Don’t wait to sign up as last year’s camp filled up quickly with only 40 spots.

Join this FUN one-day camp to explore agriculture and technology through the creation of virtual reality (VR) tours. Participants will learn about local agriculture as well as Hawaii and Alaska, create tours, and publish their work for public viewing. You will also have the chance to immerse yourself in local agriculture and ask questions of ag professionals while learning about both VR Tour creation and innovative agricultural and research practices.

WHO: Youth going into grades 7th grade and up!

COST: $25 (includes lunch, Hawaiian and Alaskan snacks, and supplies for all activities)

WHEN: 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

WHERE:
June 1st at West Central Research Extension, Education Center (North Platte)
June 2nd at Panhandle Research Extension, Education Center (Scottsbluff)
June 3rd at US Meat Animal Research Center (Clay Center)
June 4th at Haskell Ag Lab (Concord)
