The Lindenwood/Cottage Heights/Barraud Park Civic League meets the 2nd Tuesday of each month with the exception of June & July. Meetings are held at alternating locations, Mt. Olive Baptist Church, 2401 Ludlow St. and New Union Chapel, 1200 St. both at 7PM. Any resident, business owner or church/school organization may join the Civic League by paying their $10 dues at any monthly meeting.

What a time we had last night at our civic league meeting! Special thanks to Dr. John Sitka for Delegate and Delegate Jackie Hope Glass for meeting with our residence as well as our surprise guest Councilwoman Andria McClellan and Delegate Angelia Williams Graves-Democrat For Senate D-21 for visiting us and giving us information on their candidacy for the democratic primary on June 20.

News update: We will have our monthly clean up this Saturday at 9:00 AM meeting at the Watergate Parking Lot.

What a wonderful time we had at our last meeting, we were able to get a update on Barraud Park remodel from Councilwoman Mamie Johnson and Parks and Recs director Darell Critterdon. We were also provided information of our very own resident Wayne and Darlene Baxter of their non-profit in the gap inc.
