Fleet Angel update from the last few weeks:

ENS Browning commissioned and became the newest Fleet Angel "Mustang". CMC Harlow and LT Weese then completed their tours at HSC-2 and received their End of Tour awards from Skipper Farwell. This week, LTJGs Narvaez and Tessier promoted to Lieutenant. Congratulations and thank you for all your hard work, Fleet Angels!

Yesterday, the Fleet Angels gathered to celebrate the promotion of our very own Ed Eder to O-3. With a packed wardroom and the support of his wife and family by his side, it was clear just how much he means to this squadron.

The incredible turnout is a direct testament to the impact Ed has had on HSC-2. His leadership in the Maintenance Department has been instrumental to our success and readiness.

Today, HSC-2 instructor pilots and aircrew conducted their semiannual Bambi Bucket training. The Bambi Bucket is a basket that can be attached underneath the MH-60S in order to conduct Aerial Fire Fighting. When fully filled, the Bambi Bucket is capable of holding 324 gallons of water!
