Sweet Pepperbush (Clethora alnifolia) This shrub- planted by Meadowscapes in 2024, is now blooming, growing, and emitting a wonderful fragrance. It's a great pollinator, beloved by bees that whose honey then adds a distinctive flavor and aroma to the end product.

There's Golden Rod, and then there's Golden Rod. The Meadow has quite a few of the 75 to 80 species of golden rod that are native. Some are considered overly aggressive, but they are all great pollinators. This is Grass-Leaved Goldenrod, whose presence is often an indication of metals in the soil - including Gold.
