We are thrilled to announce that Saige Hill, PhD, is joining the CIVIC team as our new Director of Alumni Engagement, bringing more than a decade of experience in higher education, community engagement, program leadership, and partnership development. Her connection to CIVIC makes this appointment particularly meaningful: Dr. Hill is a CIVIC Scholars Program alum (Class of 2015), making her return to CIVIC a true full-circle moment.
Dr. Hill holds a PhD in Public Administration and Policy from Old Dominion University, along with a Master of Public Administration and a bachelorโs degree in Psychology and Communications. Most recently, she served as Assistant Director of ODUโs Monarch Internship and Co-Op Office, where she cultivated relationships with employers, alumni, business leaders, and community partners and led high-impact student and entrepreneurship initiatives.
An ODU Top 40 Under 40 honoree and recipient of the John R. Broderick Diversity Champion Award, Dr. Hill also brings a strong record of scholarship and community leadership, including more than $80,000 in research funding and multiple peer-reviewed publications. We are thrilled to welcome a CIVIC Scholar home in a new capacity and look forward to the energy, expertise, and relationships she will bring to our alumni community.
