The Norfolk Rescue Mission is having another FREE Giveaway event, Wednesday, July 8 from 9:00am to 10:00am. Come to the back of the Mission at 107 N. 9th Street, Norfolk, NE.

We will have furniture, housewares, kitchen items, bedding, home decor, lamps, small appliances and some food items.

211 Nebraska, in partnership with United Way of the Midlands, Nebraska Children and Families Foundation, Boys Town, and Findhelp, is developing a statewide Warmline — a free resource people can call or text when they need support, guidance, or help connecting to services before a situation becomes a crisis.
Think of it this way: a hotline is for emergencies. A warmline is for the moments when someone is struggling but not in immediate danger.
We want this Warmline to truly serve Nebraska families, and that means we need input from people like you.
