What a wonderful evening at ARC!

Bonnie’s Café was full of new members tonight for our New Member Mix & Mingle, and it was so great to see everyone connecting.

Members shared their interests, talked about classes and activities they want to try, made plans to attend programs together, and started building new friendships.

This is what ARC is all about: connection, community, and finding your place.

We’re so glad you’re here!

We had a surprise visitor at ARC today! 🐄❤️

Mr. Cow and the Chick-fil-A Veterans & College team stopped by to say hello, visit with members, and bring some extra smiles to the day.

They also handed out Be Our Guest breakfast cards so our members can stop in and try a Chick-fil-A breakfast. What a fun and thoughtful surprise!

Thank you to Chick-fil-A for brightening our day and making our members feel so special. We loved having you at ARC!

Bingo with Prairie Pride Coalition today at ARC! We ❤️ our sponsors for making programs like this so successful. We even had a visit from Mr. Cow from Chick-fil-A Veterans & College who passed out coupons for free breakfast sandwiches, but we weren't able to snag a picture. If anyone did, share your Cow photos in the comments! 🐄

Normal Township is pleased to announce it has been appropriated $300,000 through the Build Illinois Bond Fund, administered by the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity (DCEO), for capital improvements at the Activity and Recreation Center (ARC) for adults age 55+ and Normal Township Hall.

The funding was secured through the efforts of State Senator Dave Koehler Il-91 (D), who advocated for the investment to help strengthen facilities that serve residents throughout the township.

The appropriation will support critical capital improvements that will enhance services, improve accessibility, and help ensure that both facilities continue to meet the needs of the community for years to come.

Thank you so much Senator Koehler and the State of Illinois!

The Normal Township Board is excited to unveil our plans for our capital improvements later this summer!

We are grateful for our sponsors like CEFCU who help us provide coffee and tea in Bonnie's Cafe free of charge to members! The cafe at ARC is the hub for socialization and connection and is the first space new members experience when walking into the center for the first time. It is important to the ARC team to keep this service operating at no cost to members, so everyone feels welcome and is not priced out of the chance to build friendships and become further involved in activities that promote whole health wellness!
