Normal Parks & Recreation Aquatics Division operates two seasonal Aquatic Centers, Karraker and Anderson.

That’s a wrap on the 2025 pool season!

Thank you to the 68,500 + swimmers, splashers and sun-soakers who joined us at Anderson and Karraker Aquatic Centers this summer.

We’re proud to share during our three unannounced audits from Ellis & Associates, our lifeguards scored “Exceeds Standard” on all of them! A huge shoutout to our staff for keeping safety their top priority. 👏

Due to staffing, Anderson Aquatic Center will be closed today (Aug. 10) so we can operate Karraker Aquatic Center at full capacity for its final day of the season.
