We invite you to join our Evening TBRI® Caregiver Group, a supportive virtual group designed for adoptive and guardianship caregivers. The group will meet on Tuesday evenings from 5:30-7:00 PM, beginning September 16, 2026, and continuing through December 15, 2026. There will be no group on November 3 due to Election Day. The group will meet virtually through Microsoft Teams. The program is based on the TBRI caregiver training curriculum and explores practical strategies for building trust, supporting regulation, and responding to challenging behaviors while maintaining connection.
What is TBRI®?
Trust-Based Relational Intervention® (TBRI®) is a relationship-centered approach developed to help caregivers better understand and respond to the needs behind a child's behavior. TBRI focuses on three key principles:
• Connection: Building trust and strengthening relationships.
• Empowerment: Meeting physical, sensory, and emotional needs that support regulation.
• Correction: Teaching new skills and responding to behavior in ways that preserve connection and felt safety.
Throughout the group, caregivers will learn practical tools they can use in everyday situations while connecting with other families who share similar experiences.
If you are interested in participating or would like additional information, please contact Michaelle Maiers at [email protected].
We hope you'll join us this fall!
