Remembering Saundra 💗
It is with a deep sadness that we say goodbye to Saundra Myers-Johnson, a longtime employee, beloved colleague, leader, mentor and friend who recently passed away.
Saundra spent decades working with, supporting, guiding and advocating for children with disabilities. She started at the center in 1985 and retired in 2022 as the center’s longtime director of psychological services.
Saundra was honored for her work with the naming of the Saundra Myers-Johnson Psychological Assessment Clinic at the center.
She will be remembered for the dedication she brought to the job, the wealth of knowledge she shared with others and the encouragement and compassion she showed to our patients and their families.
Saundra's work touched countless lives, and she leaves behind an enduring legacy at the center.

Petal project 💐🌷🌼
Abigail works with Jody Phillips, a speech-language pathologist, on a project for garden group involving wildflowers. Patients in the group got to draw and decorate a paper flowerpot and then pick wildflowers to display in the pot.

The MYBA Courage League is an inclusive, adaptive baseball program that offers children and adults with disabilities the opportunity to play the sport.
