Water fitness integrated into the Physical Education curriculum at all age levels through:

* Swimming lessons
* Strength, flexibility, and aerobic training
* A district wide learn-to-swim program for all second grade students

Water safety programs that teach:

* Swimming skills
* Respect for water hazards
* Accident prevention best p

* Basic lifesaving skills

Water fitness and therapy programs for children with special needs that will address:

* Cognitive skills
* Fine motor skills
* Gross motor skills
* Sensory integration
