BEDLAM RESULTS ARE IN… AND EVERYONE WON!

The final score is Norman Animal Welfare: 63 adoptions and Stillwater Animal Welfare: 35 adoptions!

Yes, Norman came out on top in our friendly Bedlam competition…but the score we’re MOST excited about is this:

98 ANIMALS ADOPTED!

That’s 98 pets who left the shelter and headed home with new families—and THAT is something worth celebrating!

We are incredibly proud of the staff at both shelters who worked so hard throughout the Oklahoma Mega Adoption Event, and we couldn’t be happier for every animal who found a home.

A HUGE thank you to Best Friends Animal Society for sponsoring the Oklahoma Mega Adoption Event and making these fee-waived adoptions possible.

And to the Norman and Stillwater communities—THANK YOU! You showed up for your shelters. You adopted. You shared our posts. You tagged your friends. You cheered us on. We appreciate you more than you know!

Now… there was a little wager involved.

Since Norman took the Bedlam win, Rachel, Stillwater Animal Welfare’s Shelter Manager, will be making a trip to Norman to clean some kennels while sporting an OU shirt!

And don’t worry, Stillwater—we’ll be sure to take plenty of pictures and share them!

Great job, Stillwater. Great job, Norman. And congratulations to 98 very lucky pets and their new families!

🐾💙 BARTHOLOMEW IS THE LAST ONE LEFT! 💙🐾

One by one, Bartholomew has watched his siblings leave the shelter and head off to their new homes. Now it’s his turn.

Bartholomew is still just a puppy, and we really don’t want to see him grow up in a shelter kennel. He deserves a home, a family, adventures, playtime, and someone to show him just how good life can be.

This handsome boy has plenty of puppy energy, so he’s looking for a family who can keep him active, engaged, and learning! Training will be important as he grows, and he’ll need someone ready to put in the time to help him become the very best boy he can be.

What Bartholomew really wants, though, is simple: to get OUT of the shelter and start growing up with a family of his own.

He’s ready to learn.
He’s ready to play.
He’s ready to love somebody.
He’s ready to GO HOME.

Please don’t let Bartholomew grow up in the shelter.

Did somebody say they’re HALFWAY BEHIND NORMAN?! 😏😂

We love a little friendly Bedlam trash talk, but NORMAN — DON’T GET COMFORTABLE!

IT’S ONLY HALFTIME! And we are prepared for overtime! We’re staying open today until 7 pm for adoption.

Stillwater is rallying their fans, and we need Sooner Nation to KEEP SHOWING UP! ❤️🤍

The losing Shelter Manager has to travel to the winning shelter and CLEAN KENNELS…
