We are bursting with pride today! Our very own employee James was recently highlighted in a New York Times article, and honestly, we aren't surprised the world is noticing what a treasure he is.
In his 70s, James still comes to work every single day with a massive smile on his face. He works tirelessly to ensure local seniors over 60 receive a hot, fresh, and delicious lunch.
James, thank you for your incredible dedication, hard work, and infectious positive attitude. You make Aging Services Inc. a better place!

🚨 URGENT CALL FOR HELP: OUR SENIORS ARE WAITING 🚨

Can you spare just one hour to ensure a neighbor doesn't go hungry?

Right now, there is an urgent need for volunteer drivers to deliver meals to homebound seniors in Norman, S. OKC, Moore, and Noble. The need in Norman is especially critical.

Without volunteer drivers, some of our most vulnerable seniors may not receive a meal at all.

How you can help:

Time Commitment: Just 1 hour per day, Monday through Friday.

Flexibility: Volunteer for as many or as few days as your schedule allows!

Summer Opportunity: We especially encourage teens and young adults to join our mission during the summer months. It’s a powerful way to give back to those who built our community.

This isn’t just a delivery; for many, it’s the only friendly face they see all day. Don't let their plates go empty.

We still have openings for our free caregiver workshop this Monday at Mustang Senior Center.

This workshop is for caregivers, older adults raising children, and anyone who could use helpful information, encouragement, and support.

Topics include Medicare, medication safety, stress relief, dementia and caregiver burnout, effective communication, and the unique challenges older adults may face while raising children.

Coffee, donuts, cookies, and door prizes will be provided. ☕🍩

Free and open to the public.

Caring for others comes with a lot of questions, responsibilities, and heart. 💙 Aging Services, Inc. invites caregivers and older adults raising children to join us for two free community workshops designed to offer helpful information, encouragement, and support.

Sessions will be held on April 24 at Moore Public Library and April 29 at Mustang Senior Center, with topics including Medicare, medication safety, stress relief, dementia and caregiver burnout, effective communication, and the unique challenges older adults may face while raising children.

These workshops are free and open to the public. Coffee, donuts, cookies, and door prizes will be provided. ☕🍩

Aging Services is urgently looking for compassionate volunteers to help deliver meals to seniors Monday-Friday who are homebound and rely on this service.
