Megan Chavez has been named Principal of Cleveland Elementary. With more than 12 years of experience in education and leadership, Megan is passionate about creating inclusive, high-achieving learning environments where every student can thrive.

Mary Castillo Mullican has been named Principal of Madison Elementary. A bilingual educational leader with more than 26 years of experience, Mary brings a proven track record of academic excellence, collaborative leadership, and support for diverse student populations.

AlphaBEST Education and Club Z! Tutoring Services are partnering to offer The Literacy Launchpad: Second Grade & Growing — a fun and engaging literacy program designed to help students build strong reading and comprehension skills before entering 3rd grade.

📅 June 22 – July 31
📍 Madison, Jefferson, Truman Primary and Wilson Elementary
👧 Open to all students entering 3rd grade in the 2026-2027 school year
✅ Students do NOT need to be enrolled in AlphaBEST Summer Excursions to participate

Through interactive learning, advanced phonics and collaborative storytelling, students will strengthen the foundational skills they need for future success.

🎭✨ Congratulations to Norman North High School graduate Lillian Clark on an incredible achievement!

Lillian was recently honored with the Kelli O'Hara Award for Outstanding Performance by an Actress, recognizing her exceptional talent and dedication to the performing arts. This prestigious award celebrates some of Oklahoma's top high school musical theater performers and provides opportunities to showcase their talents on a larger stage.
