County Assessor Notice of Valuation will be mailed soon. The County Assessor is required to notify the property owners of a change in their property value. Receiving this notice does not signify that any exemptions have been removed from your property. If you have not applied for an exemption, the mailing date of this notice will extend the filing period for thirty (30) days. To submit an application, please email us at [email protected].

Included with this Notice of Valuation is an insert describing the various property exemptions. Exemptions can save you money!

Our appraisers will soon be working in southeast Norman/Noble area. If you live in the area highlighted on the map, our field appraisers will be doing visual inspection of your property.

Visual inspection is required per Oklahoma State law ยง68-2818, 2820 & 2821. This law requires that every property in the county be visually inspected at least once every 4 years. This process involves updating pictures of your property, ensuring that the property information that we currently have is correct, and making sure the measurements of all the buildings are accurate.

Our field appraisers will be clearly identified with yellow safety vests that have โ€œCounty Assessorโ€ printed on them, badges, and their vehicles will have signs on their vehicles that say โ€œCleveland County Assessorโ€ on them.
Our appraisers will only be on your property for as long as it takes to update our records. As a courtesy, they will leave a door hanger letting you know that they were there.

The deadline to file for property tax exemptions is quickly approaching.

If you are wanting to apply for Homestead Exemption, Additional Homestead Exemption, or Senior Valuation Limitation the deadline to do so is March 15, 2026. If you are applying by mail, it must be post marked by March 16, 2026, in order for our office to apply the exemption to the property for tax year 2026.
