In preparation for our field trip to OU for the Neustadt Lit Fest, we taught a lesson to our AP Lang and Lit classes about the award winning author Ibrahim Nasrallah. Students analyzed some of his poetry as a whole class and in small groups. Excellent job analyzing the rhetorical situation, connotation, and diction!

Over 600 9th graders in 23 9th grade English 1 classes taught by 6 incredible teachers came for their library orientation the past two days! We had a blast going over all that the library offers and what behaviors we expect. We had our public library friends bring fun things in addition to the new fun things we had available. Now we’re ready to keep the fun going the rest of the school year with our newest timberwolves.
