¿Qué mejor manera de celebrar el 250.º aniversario de los Estados Unidos que con coloridas y creativas piñatas hechas por nuestro Teen Club?

El mes pasado, nuestros estudiantes diseñaron y crearon seis increíbles piñatas, incluyendo la Campana de la Libertad, un fuego artificial, un pastel de cumpleaños y los números 2-5-0. ¡Los participantes de nuestros programas Summer Bridge de Norristown y Morris Arboretum se divirtieron muchísimo al romperlas y celebrar juntos!

Los estudiantes de 5.º grado de Summer Bridge también dejaron volar su creatividad y crearon unas adorables mini piñatas.

What better way to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the United States than with colorful, creative piñatas made by our very own Teen Club!

Last month, our teens designed and created six amazing piñatas, including the Liberty Bell, a firework, a birthday cake, and the numbers 2-5-0. Campers from our Norristown Summer Bridge and Morris Arboretum programs had a blast breaking them open and celebrating together!

Our 5th-grade Summer Bridge students got creative too, making their own adorable mini piñatas.

Recientemente, ACLAMO tuvo el placer de recibir a la MontCo Anti-Hunger Network para un importante evento de distribución de alimentos. Las despensas de alimentos locales se reunieron en ACLAMO para recoger alimentos que serán compartidos con familias de nuestra comunidad.

Nos enorgullece apoyar esta increíble red de organizaciones que trabajan cada día para ayudar a garantizar que las familias tengan acceso a alimentos nutritivos y recursos esenciales. Juntos, podemos marcar la diferencia y construir una comunidad más fuerte y saludable.

Recently, ACLAMO had the pleasure of hosting the MontCo Anti-Hunger Network for an important food distribution event. Local food pantries gathered at ACLAMO to pick up food items that will be shared with families throughout our community. We are proud to support the incredible network of organizations working every day to help ensure that families have access to nutritious food and essential resources. La cuarta clase de alfabetización digital y tecnología se llevó a cabo el 25 de agosto en el Centro Comunitario para Adultos Mayores de ACLAMO.

A través de esta subvención, estamos ofreciendo clases bilingües de alfabetización digital y apoyo tecnológico para personas mayores, ayudándolas a desarrollar habilidades digitales esenciales, adquirir confianza en el uso de la tecnología y mantenerse conectadas con recursos, servicios y su comunidad.

Esperamos seguir empoderando a más adultos mayores con las herramientas y conocimientos que necesitan para desenvolverse con éxito en el mundo digital de hoy.

Fue una excelente oportunidad para conectar con las familias de nuestra comunidad, compartir recursos valiosos y promover la salud y el bienestar. Estos eventos nos recuerdan la importancia de trabajar juntos para que nuestras familias tengan acceso a la información, los servicios y el apoyo que necesitan para prosperar.
