🖤❤️💚 Today, Montgomery County gathered at the County Courthouse to commemorate Juneteenth with a flag raising ceremony honoring freedom, resilience, and the ongoing pursuit of liberty and justice for all.

The program featured remarks from our County Commissioners, a reading of the Emancipation Proclamation, musical performances, recognition of our Art & Poetry of Freedom Contest winners, and proclamations honoring Capt. Whiting and Mr. Richet -- two community trailblazers whose lives reflect perseverance and progress.

As we approach the 250th anniversary of our nation's founding, Juneteenth offers an opportunity to reflect on our shared history, celebrate the progress we've made, and recognize the work that remains to ensure the promise of freedom reaches everyone.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for this meaningful celebration and helped make today's event possible. 🇺🇸

Glad to join our partners in King of Prussia for the groundbreaking of this new affordable housing development.
This project will create 20 affordable housing units and is a great example of what can happen when local, county, state, and federal partners work together toward a common goal.

It was great to spend time with the Norristown Rotary Club and provide an update on what's happening in Montgomery County.

We talked about new supportive housing in Norristown, economic development initiatives, and preparations for America's 250th birthday celebration.
