A special thank you to Michael Harcum, Director of Admissions at Montgomery County Community College, for once again presenting the award at this year’s ceremony and for your continued support of the Anderson School. Congratulations, Kylie!

This school year, students in our Multiple Disabilities Support program collaborated with their 5th grade peers to create Beautifully Different: A Story of Friendship, Kindness, and Us—a book about celebrating our differences, learning from one another, and recognizing how much we all have in common.

Each student shared their voice by contributing ideas and helping design pages that tell a story of inclusion, kindness, and empathy.

We’re incredibly proud of these young authors for bringing such a meaningful message to life! 🫶 📖
