Subject: Search Warrant Ex*****on

On Wednesday August 19, 2026, members of the North Adams Police Department, Berkshire Law Enforcement Task Force and Berkshire County Special Response Team (SRT) executed a search warrant at 162 Mohawk Forest Boulevard. Investigators located Jaylen GRAHAM, James BENNETT, James DAVIS, Lindley WRIGHT and Scott DELMOLINO inside the residence. Evidence on scene showed that the occupants flushed a significant amount of co***ne down the toilet as members of SRT made entry into the apartment.

Investigators noted that GRAHAM, BENNETT and DAVIS are violent offenders with prior firearm convictions. On Friday, August 21, 2026, all arrested were arraigned in Northern Berkshire District Court on the below charges.

James DAVIS was held without the right to bail following a dangerousness hearing. Additionally, Jaylen GRAHAM and James BENNETT were held without the right to bail pending a dangerousness hearing scheduled for Friday August 28, 2026.
Lindley WRIGHT was held on $5,000 cash bail and Scott DELMOLINO was released on his own recognizance.

As a result of the investigation, the following evidence was seized:

Approximately 1,650 bags of heroin/fentanyl (33 Grams)
Approximately 59 Grams of Co***ne
U.S. Currency
Functioning digital scales and distribution materials
Loaded Smith & Wesson M&P .45 caliber handgun with (11) rounds of ammunition (Defaced Serial Number)
Loaded Smith & Wesson .9mm handgun with (11) rounds of ammunition
Loaded American Tactical AR-15 Pistol .556 with (28) rounds of ammunition

August Is National Emergency Management Awareness Month

The Northern Berkshire Regional Emergency Planning Committee is proud to recognize August as National Emergency Management Awareness Month, a time to highlight the people, partnerships, and planning that help keep our communities safe.

Each Northern Berkshire community has an Emergency Management Director responsible for helping the municipality prepare for, respond to, and recover from emergencies and disasters. These professionals work closely with local government, police, fire, EMS, public works, public health, utilities, schools, human-service organizations, volunteers, and regional and state partners.

Emergency management is often most successful when the public never sees everything happening behind the scenes. Long before a storm arrives, a river rises, the power goes out, or another emergency affects the region, Emergency Management Directors are asking important questions:

• What could happen?
• Who may be affected?
• What resources will be needed?
• How will agencies communicate and coordinate?
• How will we support residents with additional needs?
• How will essential services continue?
• What is the backup plan, and does the backup plan have a backup plan?

Emergency management is not limited to major disasters. It includes all-hazards planning, emergency communications, training and exercises, shelter and warming-center coordination, resource management, public information, damage assessment, recovery planning, and helping communities prepare for the unexpected.

The Northern Berkshire Regional Emergency Planning Committee strives to bring our eight communities and regional partners together to strengthen those capabilities. Emergencies rarely stop at a municipal boundary, and neither should preparedness. By sharing knowledge, plans, equipment, training, and personnel, our communities become stronger and more resilient together.

Throughout August, we will share weekly information explaining the role of emergency management, the responsibilities of local Emergency Management Directors, how regional coordination works, and the partnerships that support our communities before, during, and after an emergency.

Then, in September, we will recognize National Preparedness Month by sharing practical tips and resources for individuals, families, older adults, people with disabilities, pet owners, schools, organizations, and businesses. Preparedness does not require an underground bunker or a lifetime supply of canned beans. It begins with understanding your risks, making a plan, staying informed, and taking a few reasonable steps before an emergency occurs.

We invite everyone to follow along, learn more about emergency management, and become a partner in building safer and better-prepared communities.

Subject: Motor Vehicle Pursuit / Recovery of Illegal Firearm

On Wednesday, July 22, 2026, members of the Detective Unit conducting surveillance observed a male they were familiar with, Eugenio MEDINA enter the driver seat of a vehicle and another male, later identified as Ricky LOPEZ enter the passenger seat. An inquiry showed MEDINA’S license to operate in Massachusetts was currently suspended. The Detective’s activated emergency blue lights and sirens in an attempt to stop the vehicle however MEDINA refused to stop. Evening shift patrol officers entered the pursuit which traveled through North Adams to Clarksburg, Massachusetts where MEDINA eventually stopped and complied with officers. MEDINA was arrested and upon searching him officers located an empty firearm holster which was concealed on his person. Investigators were aware MEDINA did not have an LTC and was prohibited from obtaining one. LOPEZ was detained and a search of the vehicle was conducted. Investigators located an amount of co***ne hidden behind the glovebox and a functioning digital scale in the back seat. Separate folds of U.S. Currency were located on LOPEZ. No firearm was located inside the vehicle and investigators believed MEDINA threw the firearm from the vehicle during the pursuit. MEDINA and LOPEZ were both arrested and transported to the North Adams Police Department.

On Thursday, July 23, 2026, members of the North Adams Police Department were assisted by Officer Strizzi and his K9 Bear as they traveled back to Clarksburg, Massachusetts to search the area it was believed a firearm was discarded. A short distance off the roadway in a field which MEDINA drove past during the pursuit, a Beretta firearm with a High Capacity Feeding Device, loaded with (1) round in the chamber and (14) rounds in the magazine was located.
