North Adams Chamber of Commerce

The NAC is an independent nonprofit that aids in the growth of businesses in Northern Berkshires.

We facilitate communication and collaboration among our local businesses, between businesses and other educational, cultural, and regional partners, to serve all aspects of our mission. The NAC works closely with the City of North Adams to:
-Coordinate promotion of our city and its businesses by implementing marketing campaigns.
-Create and promote events that bring people to North Adams.
-Develop

tools to stream events, promotions, and gatherings to the local, regional, and visiting groups.
-Organize civic projects such as improving signage, traffic flow, and beautification.
-We connect businesses, both existing and emerging, with information and other resources to help them succeed in North Adams.
-We are the voice of the North Adams business community in government affairs, and in key issues that spark community-wide, county-wide, and/or regional conversation.

Northern Berkshire Meetup
May 27 @ The Store at Five Corners

The Store at Five Corners will host our next Northern Berkshire Meetup. Come out to meet other community members and enjoy some provisions from their iconic cafe. We’ll offer some updates and hear from Colleen Taylor about her acquisition of this local staple!

Join our monthly gathering of Business Owners, Remote Workers, Entrepreneurs, Cultural and Non-Profit Workers, Artists, and everyone who wants to meet and learn about our community in the Northern Berkshires!

Each month, a new host in any Northern Berkshire town or city will offer a brief update from their business location. Join us for an informal opportunity to mingle and connect with others in the community. Share your challenges, your updates, and find friendly support from fellow attendees. Snacks and Refreshments offered.

This initiative is intended to strengthen the local business community through connection, collaboration, resource sharing, and increased visibility of local entrepreneurs, creatives, and small business owners.

The North Adams Chamber of Commerce proudly supports this event series as a part of their mission to explore, define, share and promote the unique story of Northern Berkshire County by connecting individuals, facilitating conversations and leading the development of responsible growth practices.

TOMORROW, Wednesday, April 29 at 5:30PM, visit NAPL to join North Adams business owners Nick & Patrick from Hexagon Bagels as they offer a free presentation on what it takes to successfully start a business from scratch.

This inspirational talk will focus on the idea of starting a business, examples of successes/failures when exploring starting a business, recommendations of resources & organizations to utilize and partner with, and invaluable advice on how to apply social media platforms, engaging forms of marketing, & local community services to grow your business. Plus Nick & Patrick will bring fresh baked goods for the audience to enjoy!

Please fill out the interest form in our bio / link tree by WEDNESDAY APRIL 15 to be included among our first months of collective ads.

FYI: NAP is chipping in $2.5K and are NAC chipping in $5.6K
We are hoping with donations to make up about half our contribution, making it similar to a tri-share program.
