Firefighter Jeff Deschenes will be honored at the IAFF Fallen Fire Fighter Memorial in Colorado Springs on September 19, 2026. Local 2035 is committed to ensuring Jeff’s family can attend this important ceremony.

To support their travel, we are launching a Fill the Boot for the Fallen community fundraiser. Your generosity will help us bring Jeff’s family to Colorado to witness his name added to the memorial wall.

When: June 23rd 8-2
Where: Rotary
A boot will be placed at both stations for donations if you miss the event but want to help. Until June 26th

Today, we remember Firefighter Jeffrey Deschenes of the North Andover Fire Department. Jeff was more than awards and recognitions he earned throughout his career, though they spoke volumes about the kind of firefighter and person he was. Jeff dedicated his life to helping others on what
were often their worst days.

But beyond the uniform was a husband, a father of two,
a friend, and someone deeply loved by his family, department and community. His loss continues to be felt deeply by all who knew him.

At the Hundred Club of Massachusetts, we honor Jeff’s life, service, and legacy, while continuing to stand beside the family he loved so dearly. May we never forget the man behind the badge.
