We all want to celebrate Independence Day on the 4th of July, but we all have to do it in a way that is safe, fun and sympathetic to our neighbors and our pets.
Please stay vigilant and please do not overdo it.
🎇🎆🎉🥳🎊🎶🎊🥳🎉🎆🎇
As we celebrate this upcoming Independence Day, please remember that not all fireworks are legal in New Jersey.
❌Illegal Fireworks in NJ:
• Firecrackers
• Bottle Rockets
• Roman Candles
• Mortars
• Any firework that leaves the ground or explodes
✅Legal Fireworks in NJ:
• Sparklers
• Ground-based fountains
• Snakes
• Smoke devices
• Other approved novelty items
Illegal fireworks can lead to injuries, fires, property damage, and potential fines. Celebrate responsibly and always follow New Jersey law.
Don’t forget about our four-legged friends! Many animals are highly sensitive to the loud noises associated with fireworks. To help keep pets calm and safe:
• Keep pets indoors
• Close windows and blinds
• Play calming music or the TV
• Provide a quiet, secure space
Let’s work together to make this Independence Day safe and enjoyable for everyone, including our pets.
