People with SCI or some other medical conditions have decreased sensation. They are at higher risk for frostbite and hypothermia. If needed, can go to a warming center, police or fire or any place to stay warm as needed.

We remember those who left us on 9/11/01
Our world was changed. But we became stronger, and are growing stronger as communities. Thousands of persons lost their lives including NY fire, police, and those who searched for survivors. We need to teach our children the concepts of sharing kindness, acceptance, and giving back. Peace.

The ADA and law enforcement link is attached. The police departments need to be accessible. If not accessible, they are required to make accommodations ( Title II). Police officers who target someone based on disability need to be reported. They are public servants. The state 521CMR building codes require for a wheelchair accessible route from HP parking to the services. The state Architectural Access Board enforces these regulations.
