7-Day Meal Box Distribution Program coming to MMS

Distribution of boxes will take place every Wednesday from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, beginning Wednesday June 17th.

Parents who were denied Direct Ship-to-Home Meal Boxes because their address did not qualify as rural are eligible to pick up meal boxes at Merriwether Middle School during the distribution hours.

For pickup, parents should enter through the gated driveway and follow the drive around to the kitchen door located between the library and cafeteria.

Registration is required and can be completed either on-site during pickup, by clicking the registration link below, or by visiting the ECSD Child Nutrition page.

We polled some of our fifth graders on the last day of school and asked them what was their one thing they will miss or is their favorite thing from MES. The sweet students conveyed that they loved their teachers, their friends, and the memories made in our halls. One thing’s for sure, we will miss YOU!

We want to give a huge congratulations to our new Teacher of the Year, Jennifer Brucker!

Mrs. Brucker is kind, compassionate, caring, creative, and full of love for her students and peers. If you were lucky enough to sit in her classroom then you know what a warm, welcoming classroom it is. It is one with high expectations, room for grace, and such love. Thank you Mrs. Brucker for all you continue to pour into your students. It’s teachers like you that make Merriwether an awesome place to learn.

We also want to give a huge congratulations to our support staff of the year, Officer Sydney Moulton. Officer Sydney is always helping someone in our building. She has a smile on her face and positive attitude in everything she does. She not only helps students feel welcome but she also protects our students and families at MES. We are not only safer, but well loved because of her!
