Welcome to the SnoValley Chamber of Commerce family, G2 Computer Care!
What a wonderful afternoon celebrating the one-year anniversary of G2 Computer Care with a ribbon cutting ceremony in beautiful downtown North Bend!
City of North Bend Government

Under sunny skies, we were joined by Mayor Mary Miller, fellow Chamber members, local business owners, friends, and community supporters to recognize the growth and success of this locally owned business.

Owner Gary George has built G2 Computer Care on a foundation of reliable service, technical expertise, and genuine care for his customers. Whether it's PC and Mac repairs, virus removal, Wi-Fi and email setup, or helping local residents and businesses solve technology challenges, Gary is committed to keeping our community connected.

Congratulations on your first year in business, Gary! We are grateful to have G2 Computer Care as part of our Snoqualmie Valley business community and look forward to celebrating many more milestones ahead.

Please join us in welcoming and congratulating G2 Computer Care! 👏💙

We are so happy for you Grace! Way to go!

After 26-plus years in the newspaper industry, including several years as editor of the Snoqualmie Valley Record and other King County newspapers, I have accepted a communications job in another county. My last day in my current role is June 12.

What an incredible sold-out luncheon focused on one of the Snoqualmie Valley’s greatest economic drivers: outdoor recreation.

A huge thank you to Mike Kunz of The Line Bicycle Experience and Eddie Espinoza of Evergreen Mountain Bike Alliance for leading such an important conversation about the impact of trails, mountain biking, hiking, tourism, stewardship, and responsible recreation on our local economy and quality of life.

The numbers are powerful. King County leads the state with $4.56 billion in recreation expenditures, generating an estimated $8.86 billion in total economic contribution. That activity supports more than 46,000 jobs and nearly $475 million in state and local tax revenue. And so much of that story is happening right here in the Snoqualmie Valley.
Outdoor recreation is not just something we enjoy. It supports our restaurants, coffee shops, lodging, retail, small businesses, workforce attraction, conservation efforts, and the overall livability of our communities.

Thank you to Vevien’s Cultural Hub for sponsoring our luncheon and to Salish Lodge & Spa for the incredible hospitality. We were also honored to celebrate Salish Lodge’s 110th anniversary this month.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make this such a meaningful conversation. The Snoqualmie Valley is already one of Washington’s great outdoor recreation destinations, and this talk was a reminder of what is possible when business, nonprofit, tourism, and community leaders come together.

Today 6/12 @ 5:00PM Scott Rinckenberger Photography in downtown North Bend. If the elk can make it, so can you. 😉 tonight for the opening of Bioregion: Snoqualmie at Scott Rinckenberger Gallery. See you there!

Save the Date! ‘Bioregion: Snoqualmie’ Opening June 12th, 5-9pm at Scott Rinckenberger Gallery in North Bend.

A bioregion is more than a map. It is defined by layered boundaries — beginning with the oldest and hardest lines of geology, topography, and hydrology, moving through the living systems of soil, climate, and flora and fauna, and finally through the human lines of culture, language, agriculture, Indigenous knowledge, and the ways communities shape themselves around the limits and gifts of a place.

The Snoqualmie region is not simply a collection of scenic landscapes. It is a living system defined by the relationships between its mountains, forests, waterways, and every creature that inhabits them, including us.

Come join us in taking an active role as stewards to the land that provides us life, home and belonging.

Wow what a crowd came out to celebrate at Down to Earth Flowers + Gifts in Snoqualmie. It was such a beautiful reminder of how lucky we are to have a real heartfelt florist right here.

We are so fortunate that Sharlet Driggs and Max Pagel are taking over this amazing shop. Sharlet shared that she feels honored and cherishes the ability to share life moments with her clients. You can feel how much she takes her work to heart.

Max was just as excited and he was thrilled that Sharlet welcomed him to join the business. These two are so talented and they truly love what they do. It shows in the details, in the care, and in how they show up for people. You can tell they genuinely care about the person behind every order.

Sharlet and Max took over Down to Earth from Alice Friedel in February. Down to Earth has a new home and a new location, but it still keeps the same feel we loved in downtown Snoqualmie.

If you have been meaning to stop by, consider this your sign. Go visit them at 8890 Railroad Ave, Snoqualmie. Congratulations again Sharlet and Max. We are cheering you on and so grateful for you in our community. Thank you to Mayor Mayhew, City of Snoqualmie Government and Mayor Miller, City of North Bend Government for celebrating with us today.
