Memory Cafe Coos

Memory Cafe Coos Memory Cafe Coos is a social gathering for people with memory issues and their care partners.

Memory Café Coos’ goals are to improve the wellbeing of individuals with memory problems and foster a community that is understanding and supportive of people living with memory problems. These goals will be accomplished by (1) creating a comfortable, social gathering that allows people experiencing memory loss and a loved one to connect, socialize, and build new friendships, (2) decreasing the s

ocial isolation that often accompanies dementia and caregiving, (3) building a community partnership between public health, primary care, and public libraries.

• The café offers a unique experience apart from the normal routines. Each café will offer our guests the chance for unstructured conversation, light refreshments, and some enjoyable activities that change from month to month.
