A big thank you to Daisy Girl Scout Troop for choosing to partner with the Snoqualmie Valley Food Bank as part of their "Making the World a Better Place" badge! 💚

The troop assembled Birthday Kits filled with cake mix, frosting, candles, and other celebration essentials that will be shared with families visiting the food bank.

Everyone deserves the chance to celebrate life's special moments, and these thoughtful kits will help bring a little extra joy to local children and families. 🎂✨

We're so proud of these young leaders for turning kindness into action and making a difference in our community.

We'd also like to thank the many families, volunteers, and community members who have donated Birthday Kits over the past few months. Because of your generosity, we're able to help make birthdays a little brighter for our neighbors.

Looking for a meaningful service project? Birthday Kits are a fun and easy way for organizations, clubs, businesses, scout troops, families, and friend groups to make an impact. If you're interested in organizing a kit drive or assembly project, we'd love to hear from you!

Our shelves are looking extra brew-tiful this week ☕

Huge thanks to South Fork and Caffe Vita for donating coffee to the food bank! Thanks to their generosity, neighbors can grab a little extra pep in their pantry and start the morning with a warm cup of comfort.

You could say this donation really espresso-ed what community support looks like 💚 Thanks for helping us keep the coffee flowing and the community fueled!

A huge THANK YOU to Patty for donating tomato plants to the food bank! We love being able to help neighbors grow their own food and build a more food-secure community together.

Got extra veggies, fruit, or garden goodies this summer? We’d love to share them with local families! Just give us a quick ping before dropping off fresh produce so we can make sure we have cooler space available.

Honestly, we can’t WAIT for our new building and expanded refrigeration space. The future is looking fresh. 🌿

🌱Progress is growing at our new building!

As work continues on our new home on North Bend Way, we’re excited to share a landscaping update! Our planting plan includes mostly native plants, helping create a welcoming space that reflects the beauty of the Snoqualmie Valley.

As part of this project, we’ve been excited to partner with local businesses whenever we can, which led us to Fred’s Nursery, a true North Bend treasure.

Fred and Carol generously donated 61 native plants for the project, including Western Hemlocks, Pacific Crabapples, and Osoberries. Their longtime support continues to help our impact grow 💚

Right here in our community, 1 in 3 neighbors we serve are kids. When school is out, many lose access to the meals they count on, but together, we can change that.

We had a great visit today with King County District 3 Councilmember Sarah Perry!

She stopped by to tour the food bank, connect with our team, and it was especially great having staff, board members, and volunteers there to join the conversation and share more about our work.

We’re always grateful when local leaders take the time to learn more about the growing need in our community. Conversations like these help move ideas into action, and that’s how real impact happens.

It’s happening!! 🛠️🎉

Demolition has officially begun on the interior of our new home, and we couldn’t be more excited! Every wall coming down brings us one step closer to a space designed to better serve our community.

And the best part? We’re building this together. 💚

We’re proud to be partnering with local businesses who are stepping up in a big way to help bring this phase of the project to life:

🔌Alpine Creative Electrical for providing a low bono bid and making sure all electrical was safely handled before demolition began

👨‍🔧Noble Plumbing for jumping in to demo the existing plumbing, fast, efficient, and with incredible care

This is what community in action looks like and we are so grateful.

We can’t wait to keep sharing the progress with you. Hard hats on, big things are happening… stay tuned! 🚧👷‍♀️
