We provide training, financial support, respite, and a peer mentor program and connection events with others in the fostering community, so you’re not doing this alone.

Certified homes can be families, single caregivers, or relatives — all kinds of families help.

Uplifting Teens – A Foster Care Recruitment Event hosted by our partners at Project 48 (P48).

This virtual session is designed for individuals and families interested in making a difference in the lives of teens and young adults in foster care.

This event centers the lived experiences of youth in foster care and highlights the importance of trauma-informed care. You’ll have the opportunity to:

• Hear directly from youth about their experiences

• Learn from a resource parent who fosters teens

• Gain insights from an ODHS teen caseworker on overcoming common fears and available support

• Understand next steps for foster care licensing from ODHS staff

Our goal is to inspire and equip you with clear, actionable steps, whether that is fostering, providing respite care, volunteering, or donating.
