The Town Clerk's Office is open today, Saturday, August 22nd.

Today is the Last Day to Register to Vote and the first day of Early Voting. The Town Clerk's Office will be open from 9am to 5pm. We will be accepting all Town Clerk business today. Getting Vital Records (birth, marriage and death certificates), filing marriage intentions, dog licensing, election business (dropping off ballots, vote by mail applications, registering to vote), Business Certificates, Street Lists, etc. We can not accept payments for the Collectors office, help with abatements, conduct Board of Health business, etc.

Only Town Clerk business will be conducted today.

Attention North Brookfield Water & Sewer Customers:

The fiscal year 2027 first-quarter water/sewer bills have been mailed. Payments are due by Monday, September 14th.

The first batch of Vote by Mail ballots was mailed on Monday, August 3rd.

📬 Please Note: Ballots are not processed locally by the North Brookfield Post Office. They are sent to a regional processing center before being returned to town for delivery, so mail delivery may take longer than expected.

✅ To ensure your voted ballot is returned promptly and securely, the Town Clerk's Office strongly encourages you to use the official ballot drop box located outside the Town Offices at 215 North Main Street (the Duncan Building – the brick building with the awning). The drop box is checked regularly throughout the business day, and ballots are processed as they are received.

Notice from the Collector's Office

If you have not received your 2027 First and Second Quarter Real Estate or Personal Property Tax Bill, please contact the Collector's Office at 508-867-0202 or visit the office in person to request a new copy.

All 2027 First and Second Quarter Real Estate and Personal Property Tax Bills were mailed on June 30.

Collector's Office Closure Notice

The Collector's Office will be closed on Monday, July 27, and Tuesday, July 28.

Motor Vehicle Excise Demand payments were originally due on Monday, July 27. Due to the office closure, the Collector has extended the payment deadline to Thursday, July 30.

Please note: All Motor Vehicle Excise bills are issued through the Registry of Motor Vehicles.

The Collector's Office will be open for in-person payments during the following hours:
• Wednesday, July 29: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
• Thursday, July 30: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Payments may also be made online or placed in the secure drop box located in front of the Town Offices.

The Board of Assessors will be going around town to update property photos as a part of the valuation process beginning Monday, June 1st. They will be in a marked vehicle. Any questions, please contact the Town Offices. Thank you!

The new quarterly water / sewer bills have been mailed and should be received in the next few days. They are also available online at the Collector's page: https://www.northbrookfield.net/1297/Town-Collector.

Questions about the bills should be directed to the Water Department at 508-867-0207. Payments should be delivered to the Collector's office or paid online.
