The North Brunswick Public Library is excited to announce that LMxAC (our library consortium) will upgrade our library catalog and systems, scheduled for June 13, 2024. This upgrade will introduce several improvements to the library experience, including new features like texting notifications, the ability to check out digital items directly from the catalog, and saving searches for future reference.
Please note that between June 3 and June 12 due to the upgrade process, patrons won’t be able to place hold requests or pay fines or fees. However, any existing holds will be transferred to the new system. Patrons are also requested to hold onto their items during this time as items cannot be checked in and taken off accounts.
Existing library cards will continue to work in the new system. This upgrade is part of our ongoing commitment to enhancing access to library resources and providing more convenient ways for patrons to manage their accounts. The North Brunswick Public Library appreciates everyone’s patience as we work together for this exciting move forward.
