We're back home Friday night, Vikings fans! 📢 As a reminder, safe routes for entering the Hoover Athletic Complex during improvements to 7th Street are shown below. Fans approaching the Complex for events are asked to use crosswalks and enter gates based on where they park:

🚶 Main Athletic Complex Parking Lot: Park in gravel lot and enter through Gate A.
🚶 Overflow parking at Hoover High School: Use the crosswalks to Wise Avenue and head south to enter through Gate B on the far side of the Baseball building.
🚶 Dogwood Pool Parking Lot: Use the crosswalk and head east towards Gate A.

Officers will be on site to assist with crossing 7th Street.

Vehicle traffic is encouraged not to stop, drop-off, or pick-up passengers on 7th Street, please pull into one of the parking lots.

A day exploring what's next! 🎓 Several students from Hoover High School attended the Black College Football Hall of Fame Classic College Fair. They connected with admission counselors from more than 70 colleges and attend break-out sessions about various college topics.

A few of our Vikings earned onsite acceptance and scholarships! It was a good day spent thinking about plans for the future! 🧡🖤

Hoover High School Student Council has a few reminders to help everyone bring the energy, show who Vikings are, and keep Friday nights fun for all. 🙌

1. Seniority matters - Seniors in the front, Freshman in the back.
2. No noise makers - airhorns, whistles, speakers
3. Be loud and cheer - or go to the back
4. Be respectful- no profanity
5. No baby powder or silly string - don’t make a mess
6. No throwing things
7. Clean up after yourselves
8. Dress the theme!
