Carroll County was well represented Thursday night at the Greenwood Leflore Carroll Economic Development Foundation Annual Meeting & Dinner. Vice Chancellor for Health Affairs University of Mississippi Medical Center Dr. LouAnn Woodward who is a Carroll County native was the keynote speaker speaker.

SEWER UPDATE-NCWD
MARY St.
Please note: the sewer located on Mary St has been pumped and cleaned out. As we were cleaning the sewer line, we notice the following debris: wipes (of all sorts), rags, powdery laundry detergent, and grease. Please note, these items are causing the sewer to back up and overflow without fail. As a result this has and will increase the Town's expenses if the abuse continues.
Prevention: Please refrain from disposing the above items in the sewer system.

North Carrollton, "A Town On The Move"

Crews that Entergy sent installed new decorative lights in North Carrollton Wednesday. These crews have also installed lights in Madison. “Through tourism funds there have been eight additional acorn decorative lamps placed this week.” North Carrollton Mayor Ken Strachan said.

We couldn't do this successfully without every donor and hands on volunteer! The way Aly and Beverly help us organized this years festival was evident they cared about the students of Carroll County. I appreciate these two ladies to the utmost.They genuinely made this project their own! Shout out to Mattie Foreman, Nikki Martin Polk and her sweet daughter Danielle, J Z George Beta Club. I appreciate each of their leadership skills. They came in and gracefully managed each booth. Check out our back ground scenes leading to the festival.
