We are very grateful for their appreciation and our professional relationship we share with Belfor. We would like to say Thank You to Mark for organizing this amazing lunch and coming to headquarters with members of his team to spend time with us. Thank you!

Extreme heat is a period of high heat and humidity with temperatures above 90 degrees for at least two to three days. In extreme heat your body works extra hard to maintain a normal temperature, which can lead to death. In fact, extreme heat is responsible for the highest number of annual deaths among all weather-related hazards.

Remember:
- Extreme heat can occur quickly and without warning.
- Older adults, children and sick or overweight individuals are at greater risk from extreme heat.
- Humidity increases the feeling of heat as measured by a heat index.

IF YOU ARE UNDER AN EXTREME HEAT WARNING:
- Find air conditioning.
- Avoid strenuous activities.
- Wear light clothing.
- Check on family members and neighbors.
- Drink plenty of fluids.
- Watch for heat cramps, heat exhaustion and heat stroke.
- Never leave people or pets in a closed car.

Today is a day that the members of North Catasauqua Police Department, North Catasauqua Borough and our Borough residents remember Police Chief Kim Moyer. It has been two years today since Chief Moyer was called home to heaven. Chief Moyer was a member of the North Catasauqua Police Department for 45 years, and spent 40 years as the Chief of Police. Chief Moyer held many different roles in his life to many people, whether it was personal or professional. Roles such as a, leader, mentor, role model, or a friend. Above all he was husband and father to his children. Chief Moyer was a leader and teacher to countless police officers who worked under his command. Chief Moyer always had an open door policy, and always did what he could for those who asked for his advise or help. He was always available and went out of his way to assist and help anyone he could. Chief Moyer was a family orientated man who enjoyed the small things in life such as, spending time with his family and friends, being in Ocean City Maryland, or going to The Blue Monkey for clam night with his family. Family and profession were always important to Chief Moyer and he gained the respect of all who met him. Chief Moyer loved North Catasauqua Borough and he loved being a police officer and Chief of Police. We are very grateful to have Chief Moyer and his memories in our hearts and thoughts. We are also very grateful to have had the time that we had with him and all that he taught us as a police department. From all of us at the North Catasauqua Police Department and the Borough you will always and forever be missed and loved Chief Moyer. End of Watch 7/13/2019.... Rest Easy Chief
