Lots of fun to be had at the Community Night Out!! Going on until 9pm tonight!!

07/13/2021

Today is a day that the members of North Catasauqua Police Department, North Catasauqua Borough and our Borough residents remember Police Chief Kim Moyer. It has been two years today since Chief Moyer was called home to heaven. Chief Moyer was a member of the North Catasauqua Police Department for 45 years, and spent 40 years as the Chief of Police. Chief Moyer held many different roles in his life to many people, whether it was personal or professional. Roles such as a, leader, mentor, role model, or a friend. Above all he was husband and father to his children. Chief Moyer was a leader and teacher to countless police officers who worked under his command. Chief Moyer always had an open door policy, and always did what he could for those who asked for his advise or help. He was always available and went out of his way to assist and help anyone he could. Chief Moyer was a family orientated man who enjoyed the small things in life such as, spending time with his family and friends, being in Ocean City Maryland, or going to The Blue Monkey for clam night with his family. Family and profession were always important to Chief Moyer and he gained the respect of all who met him. Chief Moyer loved North Catasauqua Borough and he loved being a police officer and Chief of Police. We are very grateful to have Chief Moyer and his memories in our hearts and thoughts. We are also very grateful to have had the time that we had with him and all that he taught us as a police department. From all of us at the North Catasauqua Police Department and the Borough you will always and forever be missed and loved Chief Moyer. End of Watch 7/13/2019.... Rest Easy Chief

Hello Friends and Neighbors!

I am your new Librarian and I would like to introduce myself.

My name is Kath Morris and I live in North Catasauqua.

Some of you may have seen me at the Library, as I have worked there over the years.
I have worked as a teacher in England and as a substitute teacher and Library assistant in this country. I have children and grandchildren.
I love reading and working in the Library. I have watched the Library grow and change under Sandra’s leadership and I am delighted to follow her example and work with our communities.

Our aim is to look outward towards you, the people who live here, and provide the services that you need to thrive and grow.

Calling all seniors, adults, teens, and children!

Keep checking this site for activities for your age group. As soon as circumstances allow we will let you know what’s going on and when.

Next event will be Summer Reading.
Register now at the Library in person or call 610-264-4151 for details.

We have lots of crafts and books, activities for all age groups -
from Tots to Teens.

We will be holding Summer Reading in person, in small groups, throughout each week. If you're not comfortable for your child to come in to the Library there will be a takeaway craft for those registered. Books can be ordered remotely or in person and picked up in the foyer.

We’re open for business as usual, no appointments necessary.
Come into the Library anytime during opening hours, we’d love to see you!

This week marks the annual National Police Week, which is observed as; May 9 - May 15, 2021. National Police Week is a collaborative effort of many organizations, citizens and law enforcement agencies across the country, that are dedicated to honoring America’s Law Enforcement Officer's and community.

The principal organizers of National Police Week include: National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund (NLEOMF), which produces the annual Candlelight Vigil among many other events to show their appreciation, remembrance, and support of law enforcement. During this time we also recognize and honor those law enforcement officers who have made the ultimate sacrifice while protecting and serving their community.
