MarineCadastre.gov is an integrated marine information system that provides jurisdictional, legal, physical, ecological, and human use data for the United States and its territories in one location. A user can find, view, and download authoritative federal marine boundary data on this website. MarineCadastre.gov was designed to support renewable energy siting but is also being used for other ocean

-related efforts, such as marine planning. While marine cadastre offers a variety of information and resources, the primary features are the web map viewers and decision-support tools, a spatial data registry, technical support, and regional capacity building. MarineCadastre.gov was created in a partnership between the U.S. Department of the Interior’s Bureau of Ocean Energy Management (BOEM) and the NOAA Office for Coastal Management.
