The introductions continue! 👏

We’re excited to welcome the second group of our 2026 Summer Interns. Throughout the summer, they’ll gain hands-on experience across the company, from supporting operations in the office to learning alongside our crews in the field. We’re excited for them to learn from industry professionals and gain a deeper understanding of the industry that keeps our communities moving.

We’re glad to have them on the team and look forward to seeing all that they accomplish this summer!

Throughout the school year, our HR and Recruiting teams have partnered with students through mock interviews, resume-building workshops, and career readiness guidance to help prepare them for their next chapter. Cheers to Freddy Spraker on his retirement! 🎉

After 6 years with Sanders Brothers, Freddy is officially parking the trackhoe and heading into a well-earned retirement. Freddy has kept our Sassafras Pit rolling every day, bringing an unmatched experience, steady leadership, and a work ethic that is hard to beat.

Freddy’s impact reaches far beyond the work he did. He leaves behind knowledge, dedication, and pride in a job well done that will continue to be felt for years to come. We are truly grateful to have had him as part of the Sanders Brothers family and know we are better because of the time we shared with him.

Congratulations, Freddy! Enjoy every minute of retirement. We wish you nothing but the best in this next chapter!
