2nd grade students will participate in CogAT/Iowa testing during the month of October. Our testing dates are October 14 - 20 with make-ups October 21- 23. Please make sure students are at school on time and ready for this assessment.

4th grade students will participate in CogAT testing on November 4 - 6 with makeups November 9 - 11. There is an opt out procedure that is explained in the 4th grade letter. If you wish for your child to be excluded from participating in the 4th grade CogAT, please fill out the opt out form located on the bottom of the 4th grade letter and return to your child's teacher by 10/30/26. It is recommended that all 4th grade students participate in the assessment even if your child is already identified as gifted. This will provide the school with updated information that can be used to better serve your child's educational needs.

Please be advised that the Young Gentlemen’s Club will NOT meet today, Monday, September 28. Today’s meeting has been canceled.

We will resume our regular meeting schedule next Monday, October 5, from 2:20–3:45 p.m.

Hunley Park is kicking off our fundraiser sponsored by Midland Fundraising. Check your child's backpack for the magazine and the order form today!
This fundraiser is a simple way for families to support our school. You can help by registering, sharing the fundraiser link with family and friends to shop, and placing an order online from the magazine, or you can order by completing the order form and sending money in your child's backpack. Every order helps support our school. We get back 50% of all orders.
Start date: Monday, September 21st
End date: Monday, October 5th (all orders are due)
