Governor Scott and his team are visiting every county in Vermont as part of his “Capital for a Day” tour. This gives local constituents, municipal government leaders and other partners the opportunity to connect directly with state leadership and staff.
Our State Librarian & Commissioner of Libraries are scheduled to be at the Bailey Memorial Library on Friday June 5 at 10:30am for all who would like to attend.

Kids Fire Safety Awareness
A fun even on Saturday May 16th at 12pm with firefighter Mercedes. There will be snacks and activities and even a fire truck on sight. Most importantly there will be some safety education

We are doing something very fun for our April Reads!!!!
We are offering “Blind date with a book”. We have put some clues on them to help you choose. Please come in and find a new book/author/genre to read and enjoy a “blind date”.
These are not library books - they are yours to keep. You may make a donation for them but it is not required. We just want you to enjoy them. The inventory will continue to be replenished throughout the month.

They tell us it is spring now… some days I am not sure. Did you know you could check out a bird watching backpack? It comes with a dvd, book and binoculars. You can check it out like a book with your library card

Good news….starting in February we will be open a couple hours on Fridays now. Notice we will be closing an hour earlier on Tuesdays and Saturdays.
Starting February 1st these will be our new hours.
